01-Dec-2012 -- I travelled to Lahore for attending a farewell dinner to E-in-C Pakistan Army who was retiring from Army after his long 37 years service for Pakistan Army. Keeping in view his services for Pak Army and nation he was promoted to the rank of Lt General before his retirement. I attended the dinner on eve of 30 Nov and stayed overnight at Lahore Gymkhana. I had in my mind the plan to visit this confluence point on my way back to Islāmābād.

I started my journey at 7 am. First I visited the shrine of Hazrat Ali Hajveri Daata Ganj Bakhsh to pay homage. After that I had my breakfast at a small roadside restaurant to enjoy the traditional Lahori food. Instead of taking the motorway, I took GT road and reached Gujrāt at about 10:30 am. From Gujrāt I turned right to go to the town of Bhimbar in Azad Jammu and Kashmir. My driver Riasat was driving my Land Cruiser jeep. We reached Bhimbar around 11:30 am. From here we turned left and took the Bhimbar-Jatlā road. After about 6 km we turned right on a small village road to go near the confluence point. At around 12 noon we reached the small village and parked our jeep in a roadside mini sawmill. Our GPS was showing the point was about 200 meters from this sawmill. This point was on a small hill. It took us around 20 min by foot to reach the point.

There was no track to this point and we had to pass through wild bushes. Here I must appreciate my driver Riasat who helped me climbing up the hill as it was little bit difficult for me at this age of 64. So finally we reached the point and took the necessary pics at the confluence point.

We started our return journey to Islāmābād at around 1 pm and reached Islāmābād at 4 pm.
