18-Mar-2017 – We had already skied 62 km since we started our trip. The straight line distance to 66°N 61°E confluence point was 45 km. In the morning we crossed Kharuta river and climbed up the right steep riverside. The confluence point is located almost on the top of Bad'yayol' hill (height 237 m). We climbed smoothly 130 meters up from the river. The day was sunny and too warm for ski touring. Snow was sticking to the skis and it was getting very hard to move on. We stopped for the lunch near the confluence point. It was my 100th unique confluence point! That evening we celebrated this event.

The confluence point is located in Inta district of Komi Republic. The nearest inhabited locality, small village called Yepa, is located 40 km north-northwest of the confluence. There is a good fir-and-birch forest in the area. Closer to the mountains the landscape becomes more and more hilly. The rivers have valleys with high rocky sides.

After the lunch and some rest we continued our trip. The straight line distance to the next 66°N 63°E confluence point is 45 km, but, in fact, we had to overcome 70 km and 2 mountain passes ahead.
