This Degree Confluence Point has not been visited.
Type: Water: 46 km (29 mi.) from land
Our data indicates that land will appear over the horizon by at least 0.06 degrees, or 0.12 times the angular width of the moon. It may well not be clearly visible without ideal conditions, a very good camera, and a tall boat or ship.
Notes
In the ocean, but with a very slim provable view of the island. Make sure you have a good boat, a good camera, a good telephoto lens, and clear visibility -- the land only projects above the horizon by a little over one-tenth the apparent width of the moon, at about 50 km, so you'll good conditions to have any chance of seeing land!
