06-Feb-2005 -- ) On the 40th birthday of my good friend Diego we visited him at Aguascalientes, as the tradition goes we checked for near-by confluences and there it was about 40km northeast of that city. We decided to attempt it on Sunday.

We decided the Villa Juarez route (#25) but is not the only one then to Palo Alto (#6) and right next to the road (300m) in a ranch named La Luz.

A fragile fence held us at 20.6m away (see 22n102wexplorerboss2), but respect to private property is a must especially when the owner was not around just hi/her expectant neighbors and the boss was watching.

The visit was successful but short, for the way back home is long (4hrs) and “high command” had other plans.

A stop for lunch and a walk at historic Zacatecas (foto zac052) is a must. The confluence can be reached from both cities Zacatecas or Aguascalientes for it lies between the two.
