20-Aug-2006 -- Driving another 90 km toward Hanoi direction form 21N 107E in Halong area, we stopped at a Manh Hoach restaurant, specialized in chicken dishes, to have lunch. Chickens here are small but very delicious, 2 main courses here are boiled and grilled chicken.

The point of 21N 106E, our 3rd target, is only 17 km East of Hanoi. It had been visited by many people as its easy-to-reach location. From the chicken restaurant, we drove on the highway No. 5 for about an hour. After passing Nhu Quynh bridge we turned right to a small path leading to the village. We faced no difficulty at all to reach near to the point. From 450m to the point, we parked the cars and walked on a muddy path across a rice field. There were a group of about 10 young boys following us to see what we intended to do. It’s not hard to find the confluence inside a vegetable field. Then we reached one more point to complete our hat trick of 3 confluences during a 2-day trip.

During the trip we passed through 11 provinces with the total length of 550 km. This is a fruitful trip.

In our team, Tivi is the youngest member, just 7 years old, but he was very keen on GPS. Going back to Hanoi, we said good bye to one another and agreed to continue look for a new destination as soon as possible.
