08-Aug-2009 -- So one week after we had our first successfully visited confluence point in our life (50N 123W), this was now a second test. Because this point is just located only some 100m away from Nisgaa Highway, we thought about that this is as easy as our first point (there we had to hike 8km one-way and more or less 700 m in altitude).
So we parked our car on a small spot next to the street and start our way to the nearby forest. There we soon discovered that this forest was covered much more than the last before. Climbing across the wet dead tress we reached after 15 minutes a small deep gully, overgrown with trees and bushes. Luckily a big tree crossed this gully and pointed directly to our confluence point, located on the other side of this cutting.
It took a while before we found there the right point. The forest is there so dense, so we had some problems with a proper the GPS signal. Finally we got a dot-zero on both values - and a second confluence visit in our holiday.
