26-Aug-2012 -- The fourth visit of the day flying south.
The tundra has been left behind and trees cover most of the surface again.
The confluence appeared to be exactly on top of a hill with only a few trees and I landed in the swamp on a tiny lake just north of the rocky hill. Hiking up the hill I realized the confluence is not on top but down the southeastern slope, almost on the foot of the hill and well within trees again.
Since I was in a hurry and the exact confluence would by far not have yielded any good photos I decided further up the hill is much better.
This confluence is very close to a perfect location. The little hill gives a nice view of the surroundings. Such spots are very rare here. Surrounding hills are all covered by boreal forest and would not give any good views.
