08-Sep-2002 -- I read Mike Blaszczak's attempt, so I knew where to drive, and that I'd need a boat.
I roped a couple friends in to helping me, and we drove the two hours from Seattle with a canoe on the roof.
We got to the boat launch and put the canoe in. The water was really choppy, and the canoe rode pretty low with 3 people in it.
As we paddled the ½ mile to the confluence, we noticed that there was a motorboat anchored straight ahead in the direction we were traveling. It appeared for a while that they were parked exactly on the confluence. As it turned out, they were about .07 miles past it. It took us 4 passes to get to all zeros, but we finally hit it.
We snapped a few pictures, and headed home.
