30-Apr-2008 -- We reached the Confluence leaving fom Ghanzi. The day before we passed in the nearby after a full day's drive from Rakops, in the East, across the Kalahari Desert, but it was too late in the night to give it a go.
The day after we went back by the same road, tar for few kilometers, then gravel for about 45 km. The road passed at less than 2 km from the Confluence, so we continued on foot. The savannah was one to two meter high, so quite easy to walk and, we supposed, not dangerous because of the presence of cattle in the surrounding of the road.
