28-Nov-2016 -- After arriving at Chángchūn airport and meeting Manuel Custodio there, we drove directly to the confluence, which is close to the town of Mǎwǔdiàncūn (马五店村).

It's 1.7 km from the road, and can be accessed through a path that starts at a house by the road. We asked the owner if we could drive up the path, but he said that with the snow it wouldn't be a good idea, so we parked the car there and started walking.

After 20 minutes we had to leave the path and walk through the trees for another 100 meters until we reached the area of the confluence. In general it was fairly easy to get to, you only need a good coat and boots for the winter. The temperature was -10ºC when we were there.

After taking all the pictures we walked back to the car, where we found that the owner of the house had called the police. It's true that two foreigners walking into the woods in a non-touristic area looks very suspicious in China... We showed them the "letter to the landowners" from the DCP website when they asked what we were doing there. We were scared they would say something or ask for the GPS but they just took a picture of the letter and left. It was around 16:00 already and getting dark, so we drove to Dūnhuà to spend the night.

During that week we also successfully visited 43°N 127°E and 44°N 127°E.
