08-Feb-2007 -- During our journey to Jīzān region and Farasān Islands, we decided to visit the confluence 17N 43E on Thursday, 8-2-2007 AD. We arrived at the Confluence at 3:00 p.m. and the temperature there was 32°C.
We found that the Confluence hadn't been visited before and it is considered to be within the Jīzān region.
The area where the Confluence is located is called Khabt al-Baqr. The Confluence is in the West of al-`Āriḍa governorate. It is 25 km to the East of Abū `Arīš. The big dam of Jīzān is 8 km northwest from the Confluence. It is also located in mountainous land and there are a lot of Akassida trees. al-Jūwa Mountain is in the West of this Confluence.
