16-Jul-2010 – On my way to Mongolia I have passed through Kazakhstan. There are so many still "virgin" confluences there, that it would be a shame to drive by without visiting at least one of them. The time limit of my transit visa and extremly bad roads have prevented me from visiting more confluences in Kazakhstan.
This one (52°N 62°E) is only 300 meters away from the main road and it is really very strange that it had not been visited before. The road is West from the confluence point.
At the time of my visit the weather was fine.
