04-Jun-2002 -- Lake Michigan, south shore of the Upper Peninsula
Today is much calmer that the last. Winds were steady at 15 knots but they were out of the east. So the mainland protected me from heavy seas. It was still a little difficult with the wind to hold a steady position and take the photo of the GPS. The point was about 300 yards off the shore line. The drive out here was very scenic but the dreary day made for poor pictures. Further there wasn't much but water to see to the south and west.
