13-Feb-2012 -- Closing in on 10 years to the date of our first visit we returned February 13, 2012 to the N61., W154. confluence to take digital photos (previous photos were film, scanned into computer). Unfortunately, Mother Nature didn't cooperate as she sent in clouds by the time we snowshoed in roughly 1,207 meters from where we left the snow machines.
Saw boreal & black-capped chickadees & gray jays near the confluence area. A couple marten & moose tracks along our snowshoe route. Old moose tracks within 1.5 meters of actual confluence.
The confluence itself is in a low spot which is not good for wide angle views of the Revelation & Alaska Ranges. Far better views can picked from confluence when zoomed in between the trees. You can decide whether to post these other 3. No good zoomed in view to south as it is just a series of small hills with scattered spruce until you get closer to Telaquana Lake.
