26-Oct-2005 -- Taking advantage of a trip to the city of Agua Boa, I've decided to visit the 52W 14S confluence.
The GPS indicated a distance of 18km, northeast. Leaving Agua Boa, by highway BR158, 3kms to the north, I took a dirt road to the right, which took me to the town of Nova Nazare.

After driving about 20 km, I arrived within about 1.5 km of the confluence point, where the GPS indicated inside a farm. Near the fence of the farm, there were people working. I asked them for information and permission to visit the point of the confluence. The point is located in the farm of the brothers Pezzini.

Mr. Alceno Pezzini, one of the owners attended me. After I explained him about the confluence project, he joined me to find the exact point of the confluence. We drove on a path by the fields that were being prepared for the plantation of soy.

The nearest point to CP was to some 800 meters, therefore the land has been recently plowed and very muddy for the truck, so we had to walk. The confluence was in an area recently plowed and prepared for the plantation of soy.

The views to all sides are practically the same, mainly fields of farming and cattle pastures, barely interspersed by forests adjacent to the beds of small rivers and streams. After taking the pictures I returned to Agua Boa.

Agua Boa is a beautiful city, clear and pleasant. Farmers and ranchers, coming from south of Brazil founded it a few decades ago. Every year in this city, is carried out one of the greatest auction of cattle in the world.
