30-Jun-2012 -- I, Edinaldo Lemos and my brother Paul Lemos schedule the conquest of Confluence 16S 57W with the help of Google Earth a week before. We have maps, planned the road junctions and we hope the weekend to proceed with the hunt.

We left from Cuiabá, capital of the State of Mato Grosso, and headed by BR 070 to Cáceres. After 115 km, we took a secondary Highway (MT 451) in which we go through approximately 3 km, after we enter a dirty road where we found several vicinal holes and erosions, with thin layer of powder and dust. Fortunately, the weather was favorable with the clear blue sky and, because if it had rained the vicinal road would be impassable. We spotted some typical animals of the savanna, as a hawk, various birds and even a snake.

We have another 10 km until we reach the gates of Moria Farm, belonging to Mr. Agamenom Leite that received us with warmth. We explain to him the purpose of the visit and ask permission to continue until the confluence. With the authorization obtained, continue in and luckily, we were able to reach with the car at a distance of approximately 400 m from the confluence. We jumped a fence, we enter in the pasture where some bois in observed, and we were able to make the conquest of Confluence without problems .... Until next time!
