17-Oct-2015 --We left Resende (Rio de Janeiro) at 9 in the morning and entered Minas Gerais crossing the Serra da Mantiqueira. A while later we arrived at Bom Jardim de Minas, where we took the BR267 route towards Juiz de Fora.

Some kilometers later a dirt road leaves to the right in the direction of Tabuão. There are 7 kilometers in good condition to get to this small town of a few blocks length.

At the end of the village there is a fork, we took the path on the left, then the street became much more rugged, with some branches, steep slopes and with a somewhat unstable surface and a poor condition. However with a simple traction car, slowly advancing we could pass it without major inconveniences.

After 8 km of this road, we arrived at a farm, within which the confluence is located. We asked permission to pass through the gate and get as close as much as possible. To my question of "wanting to get up that hill", where a priori there was nothing different to all the land that surrounded us, a lady responded immediately "Yes, pass and close the gate not to leave out the animals", which makes me believe that there already should have been several who appeared with such an extravagant application.

We arrived by car to a point where on a gentle slope a path made by the animals rises towards the confluence, approximately 300 metres from there. It was easy to reach, although a few meters before the exact point the gentle slope (which, until then, was climbing) started to fall in a much more precipitous way, becoming somewhat difficult to move to find the point where all digits are zero.

we completed the registration and during midday, rode along the road to Tabuão with the following objective in mind: finding a good place for lunch.
