17-Feb-2007 -- Some friends and I started our bike ride on the intersection of Route 24 and the rail tracks of the abandoned stations El Tigre.

There is a road that could place us at 1500 meters of the confluence but due to wear and rain even a 4WD would have problems in it.

We used an alternate route, across the desert on soft terrain, lots of wind and some hill to climb.

When we where at 10 km my friend stopped and I continued by myself, as I gained altitude the terrain became softer and the wind stronger.

For the last 1.3 km I had to walk. After 29 km and almost 4 hours I could not pedal anymore.

The confluence point is at 1,658 masl and does not seems to have been visited before, it is completely flat. If you ask me if I would go back my answer is no, I would look for another one.

The experience of getting there on a mountain bike makes the experience more rewarding.

Thanks to my friends who made the effort, to my Giant Iguana bike, to m y wife who supports all this adventures and God who gave us a wonderful earth with marvelous laces to discover.
