24-Apr-2016 -- Taking advantage of a long holiday of April we went to the central area of the State of São Paulo. On this trip, we managed to win four new confluences.

Thursday 21 had managed to conquer the 22S 48W and 22S 49W confluences. Friday 22 did the same with the 23S 49W confluence. We dedicated Saturday 23 to visit two very tourist destinations in the interior of São Paulo, Barra Bonita (where depart walks in boat by the river Tietê which say is the oldest sluice in South America) and Águas de São Pedro. That night we ended up in Piracicaba, an important city of the area.

Sunday 24 had come back to our city, Resende (State of Rio de Janeiro) to nearly 500 km of distance, but before we decided to visit some villages within the zone of influence of the Tietê River.

One of these villages is Conchas, in which 23S 48W is located. Just out of the city by a paved municipal road heading to Piracicaba because we were half a mile of the confluence: We parked the car at the entrance of a field and jumping two wired in less than five minutes already had managed to put in zero GPS. A confluence is extremely easy to get.

Then left the confluence and passed thru multiple towns until at evening arrived to Cabreúva, and while the shortest way to reach Resende was passing through the city of São Paulo, we decided to make a detour through Jarinu, Jundiai, Atibaia. Anyone who has had to endure the torment of entering this monster of cement after a long weekend, knows that any alternative is preferable.
