07-Dec-2012 - As always, if I'm traveling for some reason and I have the opportunity to visit a confluence, try to do so, but even in this case that traveling was a few miles from this unvisited CP by anyone.

So, while we were traveling with our vehicles carrying donations to a school which we are sponsors, I commented by radio to my friend William if he could join to me to see if we could make an approach to the confluence 26S 62W that according to my records had no visit, and immediately he accept. At the national route nº 16 is located the entrance of National Park "Snowflake" (which is a natural reserve of the impenetrable forest).

When we attempted to enter the National Park we met at the entrance a group of Park Rangers, and explain them the reason of our visit and they gently granted the permission.

Quickly we were approaching the site of the confluence, always surrounded at the side of the road by a thick jungle that a priori we would make almost impossible to reach the confluence point, because it would require hours traversing the jungle tangle, but when we were only 2000 meters, we found an open gate and the road was almost in a straight line to the point that we were looking for.

We take this path, and no more than 200 meters the forest disappeared resulting in a field with the ploughed land, ready for planting... This field, surprised me greatly since even though it made me very easy to reach the place, it is a pity that the forests are being destroyed to "redeem" for fields planted with soy...

The rest was a breeze, we walked a few meters and we reach the zeros, leaving us a double sense: on the one hand the joy of reaching a place, on the other hand the sadness of knowing that are destroying a life expectancy.
