(visited by Joao Carlos Teixeira and Eurídice Teixeira)

01-Oct-2004 -- We were returning from Santa Maria where we had a meeting with colleagues of the army whom we did not see for 30 years, and we decided visiting this confluence that is a little off our way home.
We left the paved road aiming Jacuizinho already close to noon hopeful that it would be easy to find the point.
We passed beside the point, about 1200 meters, the GPS pointing 90 degrees to the right side, and kept on going a little more looking for an entrance that could take us closer. But we gave up soon.
We returned until a house that seemed to be the point closer to the confluence and asked for entering in the property. We advanced 400 meters and soon we arrived at the fence.
Talking with the landowner we've found out that soon ahead there was a road that would take us to the point. This road was soon ahead the point where we gave up before.
We came back there and found out the road that allowed us to arrive 300 meters close to the point. From the landowner's house to the point we walked.
As you can see in the general image, the region also has a little of cattle and plantations of soy and wheat.
