30-Mar-2012 - 30 and 31 March 2012 in a trip to Perito Moreno, Santa Cruz towards Claromecó, Buenos Aires, intended to make 4 confluences that I had in the route in a promenade for some Lakes of the Chubut province within days, which are: 46S 70W – 45S 70W – 45S 71W and 44S 71W.

30 March; I leave Perito Moreno by route 40 North, shortly after passing the boundary between Santa Cruz and Chubut. I took route 55 to the East, and calculated do about 20 kilometers and start looking for a road or trail that I go ever closer to the 70W 46S. Meeting more or less at that distance a seismic clean trail heading north, which seems indicated to approximate to the 46S 70W.

Unfortunately a few miles later is beginning to blur and becomes a barely visible trail, but in the hope of opening up more later, I follow entering some sand trails and crushing with thorny vegetation (especially molles, if the spines are large reaching click tires). So the best pass that did not appear to field almost mischievous, until that appears another seismic trail heading East in a much better condition than one I was using, also the GPS arrow indicated me more toward East than to the North, so I got this one.

A little later I switched to another trail that was again going North course, continued shortening distance until that appears the most feared: wired fence, go back and find another step from the route, didn't seem right, given that the GPS marked me 4 Km to reach the 46S 70W. I preferred to walk, but the trail was very good on the other side of the wired fence, so disarmed that once and continue by the trail reaching on my truck an approach of 800 meters of the confluence. There I immediately walking until I get the prize of zeros!

There was now the return, it was clear that by hurry I chose the worst possible course, because the field after passing the wiring were better and maintained their trail. Later I arrived at an oil well with easy access up to for a standard street cars, so I went to close and repair the wiring that it had opened and left quietly made route 55 by an oil pumping station.

All this between the 8 until 12:00 pm. follow then to Mayo River where would go to the 45S 70W.
