CONFLUENCIA 8°S 42°W

CONFLUENCE 8°S 42°W

Once we succeed to visit the confluence 8°S 43°W, we leave at 10:22am, to 8°S 42°W, stopping only for a fast lunch in São João do Piauí, therefore we run because we do not want to jeopardize and lose it again.

Then, at 01:46pm, in the exit of São João already we were at 45 km from the confluence. In about 40 minutes we arrive again at the point of the road next to our goal. The bush was closed, but with a little of ability we obtain to get thru and to arrive up to the confluence at 02:49pm. The accurate point is well next to a full tree of twisted twigs, where our movement made a little difficult to zeroed the GPS.

After registering the moment and the place with photos, we come back satisfied. By the way, we obtain to visit two confluences in only one day, which was very motivated and give us confidence while we where in our way back to make plans of our next expeditions.
