01-Dec-1999 -- I've been in Antarctica since the end of August but I just got to the Pole at the beginning of December. It's an interesting place. I'm running radios.

In the aerial view (photo #2) look right and down from the Dome to the small semicircle, that's the shadows of the flags around the ceremonial pole. The geographic pole is just a bit down and to the left.
