#1: Looking to the Confluence from the Southeast

(visited by MJ (Fred) Pavey)

01-Feb-2009 -- With two colleagues, "bagged" this whilst conducting a reconnaissance of some UXO in this area of South Kordofan, as part of our task in Humanitarian Mine Action in the Nuba Mountains.

Entirely beautiful area, with stunning volcanic "islands" marching away into the distance.

We realised later we made an error - given the 11N 30E confluence, we should have done it at 1130 hrs, and not 1024!
