As you can see, since its first visit in 2002, no one had successfully completed a visit to this confluence. It's a shame what happened to the last visitor who tried it in 2009, even if it was not precisely in this place.

The accuracy and functionality of GPS equipment have come a long way since the first visit, which greatly facilitated our task, together with the use of a 4WD vehicle, which reduced the 3 km walk described in the previous visits, to only 70 m. With this confidence, we left in a hurry without eating after completing our occupations in the city of Puebla, we reach the main road diversion late afternoon and began going up a dirt road that in the rainy season can clog many vehicles. As we climbed, we watched the Amozoc Speedway that looked like a toy race track.

We explore the surroundings admiring the green and semi-desert landscape dotted with small gaps between the hills that looked like miniature oasis. We got off the vehicle, walked the last meters through the dense vegetation using the invisible trails forming labyrinths left by cattle and got to the point of confluence. We took the required pictures and even took the opportunity to hide the first stage of a multi-cache (geocaching.com), which we closed 500 m away, on top of the hill Tziqueyo. We came back very happy at evening, without seeing any other person during the tour, with a very good experience.

Gabriel.
