English

In our third attempt we arriveed to this confluence. We departed from the city of Saltillo, Coah. Mexico to the south until Carneros, then we took to the west in a unpaved road to Sabanilla, Coah. And after 74 Km (46 Mi) that takes 3 hours to drive because the bad conditions of the road.
There we left our pick-up in a small rural store, to continue in our motorcycles thru the Soldado (soldier) canyon crossing the Guitarra mountain pointing to the south until Sabanilla 2 and turning to the west to Tanque la Cruz and then to southeast to Carbonero Mountain and taking the west to Tajito´s ranch.
In the way we found Hilario Alfaro with his two donkeys recolecting lechuguilla to obtain fiber to make ropes. Thanks to his indications it was possible to find ways to get to the confluence, from Los Tajitos we took to the north at the begining of the Chorreados mountains and after 4 hours of travel we decide to walk and without problem finally arriveed to the 102W 25N confluence.
The challenge was to find the proper ways to the confluence. In our first attempt we found a completly closed road due to vegetation and in our second attempt we aproached to 9 Km to the confluence but the time was over and we decide to return.
We are very happy because it was the first of 6 confluence visited in the state of Zacatecas. To see more photographs and video visit: www.retaildemexico.com/conf102w25n/index.html
