#1: General view with the Shiva's temple

(visited by Dominique Wacker and Claude Wacker)

20-Feb-2002 -- Two days after visiting point 24°N 74°E, out 60 km from Chittaugarh, well known for it big fort (5 km long and 800 meters width), we went to Begun. North of the town, a small road lead to a radio station. The point is 300 meters SE of the road near a small temple dedicated to Shiva (altitude 442 meters). This is a region with a lot of fields, mainly corn but also poppy which is used to produce opium for the local market.
