28-Oct-2003 -- We went to Bhind, around 110 kms away from the confluence point to do astrophotography and while coming back to Delhi we took a detour to to this CP. It is on a main road which goes from Karhal to Kishni Village. While going to the CP, we went to Etawah which is 22 kms away from the Bhind. From there we took a bypass to Jaswantnagar and from there we took a by-road which was going to Karhal. After 15 kms drive on the main road, we saw a small dirt road going towards thge direction of confluence which was still 3 kms away. Bur this road took us to inner parts of a village and we barely managed to get out of the dirt track back to the main road which was going to Karhal as per the GPS and the maps. Confluence seemed to be right ahead at 3 kms. After travelling 2.5 kms more on the road we found that the CP was towards the right side of the road in fields. Another 100 mts off the road we landed up on a field from where the water logged area started. We made two parties and went knee deep in the water logged area with our shoes around our necks. Somehow one party managed to go straight to the CP with water level going to waist height. Finally reached the CP which was in a paddy field. Took snaps there and talked to the owner of the field who was more than curiuos as what we were doing there.
