We started our adventure on April 9th, 2004 but did not completed it until May 23rd, 2004 since the first images of the GPS where not clear, this gave us the opportunity to go back and finish our mission.

This confluence is near a small town known as Alamo de Ojos Azules – “Blue eyes alamo” – located at some 175 kms of the city of Chihuahua in direction to the town of Carichi, passing through Ciudad Cuauhtémoc. In this highway we can se “Mennonite Groups”, typical communities of this region.

It is important to mention that in Ojos Azules they still use rustic agricultural techniques with excellent results and they grow fine cattle.

Aboard of our Jeep we where able to get within 1300 meters of the confluence, the rest was cover on foot inside a private property, where we found no one to let us go in with our vehicle.
