14-Aug-2004 -- 30 76 The point lies in Badda Lal Banjara Kalan. After doing the 30N 77E now we turn our car towards 30E 76N which falls in the state of Punjab. This is the first ever CP visit to punjab, My native place. Asish had some good maps by the lonely planet publications alongwith maps we had from survey of India as well as the Microsoft encarta printouts.

We took the following route:
Return to Pipli after doing 30 77 - Jotisher - Sandholi - Peohowa - follow the Dhula Road - samana Road - Narwana Road - Ghaggar river - take sangrur Road - Patran. From here the confluence point was about 10 km . then we took Nihal Garh - Duggal - Kaku Wala - take left turn - Badda Lal Banjara Kalan.

This point lies in a paddy fields. A typical punjabi village.he/she should take the road from Rohtak -Jind route (we realised that later on after the confluence) as that one is the normal route but as we were coming from the 30 77 so we had to have another connecting route from that CP. Finally 2 points in a day again. Took a night nap at Asish's parent's place in Rohtak and reached delhi next morning.
