#1: Scott's shadow

(visited by Matt Taylor and Scott Kessel)

25-Nov-1999 - After an unsuccessful attempt at finding overlooked alien bodies at the alleged "crash site" north of Roswell, Scott and I decided to spend the rest of Thanksgiving locating 33N 104W. The map showed it to be close to a road, about 15 miles east of the town of Hagerman. We hiked about a mile into the desert, detoured occassionally by mesquite and painful spiny grasses. As the confluence point was in a slight depression, it was void of any evidence of the human world around it.

"And on this day, we are thankful for good friends and confluence. Amen."
