#1: The confluence scenery

(visited by Ilia Yablonko and Artem Sismekov)

This point was the easiest to be reached among unvisited points in one-day accessible environs of Yekaterinburg city. In early morning we left Yekaterinburg by car and planned to visit two confluences in Kurganskaya oblast’ [Kurgan region] in a one day. We tried to approach the confluence point as close as possible. Having left our car on a snow-covered glade as far as 4 kilometers from the point, we walked towards it. At first we strode along a snow-bound road, and then we turned off the road into the forest. The point was at the forest edge. We took all the necessary shots, admired the scenery for some time and went back.
