03-Apr-2023 -- We are on a fishing trip in Skjervøy, Norway. Our reason to come up so far north at this time of the year was to catch skrei.
The skrei is a cod, which migrates from the north Polar Sea to spawn at the northern coast of Norway before returning to the Polar Sea again. Bad weather and strong winds prevented us from going out to the areas where the skrei was to be found. The only place where we could fish was at some sheltered bays in the fjord.
The confluence is not far from the harbor of Skjervøy, in a wind protected area. We tried a couple of times before we had the desired position recorded.
