05-Sep-2023 -- The sailboat POLARIS (boat type Garcia Exploration 52) visited the confluence point 71°N 29°E on September 5, 2023 at 10:38 a.m. Central European Summer Time.

The POLARIS sailed from Tromsø via Hammerfest and the Nordkapp to Kirkenes, through the Norwegian Sea and the Barents Sea, within 12 days from August 28th.

Cast off for the day's leg on September 5th was in Gamvik.

After passing the coordinates and another 50 nautical miles, we docked in Vardø on the evening of September 5th.

The POLARIS sails under the German flag (HS-Segelreisen) and had 7 crew members at the time of passing the coordinates.

At the time of visiting the confluence point, a wind of 20 knots (5 Beaufort) was blowing from the west.

The atmosphere on board was harmonious throughout, despite the single-digit air temperature.

The crew included: Guido Dwersteg (skipper), Simon Eder (co-skipper), Petra Dürr, Dietmar Dürr, Angelique Wendt, Marco Schmitz, Miriam Reinhardt.

Den Konfluenzpunkt 71°N 29°O besuchte das Segelboot POLARIS (Bootstyp Garcia Exploration 52) am 05. September 2023 um 10:38 Uhr mitteleuropäischer Sommerzeit.

Die POLARIS segelte ab dem 28. August innerhalb von 12 Tagen von Tromsø über Hammerfest und das Nordkapp nach Kirkenes, durch die Norwegische See und die Barentsee.

Leinen los für die Tagesetappe des 05. Septembers war in Gamvik.

Nach der Koordinatenpassierung und weiteren 50 Seemeilen legten wir am Abend des 05. Septembers in Vardø an.

Die POLARIS segelt unter deutscher Flagge (HS-Segelreisen) und hatte zum Zeitpunkt der Koordinatenpassierung 7 Crewmitglieder.

Zum Zeitpunkt des Besuchs des Konfluenzpunktes wehte ein Wind von 20 Knoten (5 Beaufort) aus westlicher Richtung.

Die Stimmung an Board war, trotz einstelliger Lufttemperatur, durchweg harmonisch.

Zur Crew gehörten: Guido Dwersteg (Skipper), Simon Eder (Co-Skipper), Petra Dürr, Dietmar Dürr, Angelique Wendt, Marco Schmitz, Miriam Reinhardt.
