12-Mar-2009 -- With the report from the first visitors this was almost too easy. Just as I arrived a young businessman got in to his great black SUV to leave the area. I stopped him and asked if I could move the 350 m or so into his shrimp farm. He had no objections to that and listened patiently as I tried to explain the concept of the confluence point, probably understanding nothing due to my limited language ability in theoretical subjects. He, on the other hand, was happy to tell me all about how well his business was doing and how many tons they produced every year.
He called on the foreman to take care of me and left. The foreman, Nai Jerm Naolam, remembered well the first visitors. After all these years he still remembered which tank the cp was in. From the bank to the cp in the tank was 13 m. And just as I was taking my pictures he threw a stone at the very point.
He did not speak any English, but I gave him the print out of the first visitors' report and promised to send him mine when it was approved.
