English narrative

15-Aug-2005 -- The last summer trip, that my brother and I carried out this year, took place in the south of our region, in Pavlovskiy and Radischevskiy areas. The first point near the Andreevka village had these coordinates: latitude 53 North and longtitude 47 East. There is lake Beloe, the point of interest of Ulyanovsk region. The second point is located near the Oktyabrskiy village: latitude 53 North and longtitude 45 East. There was a long way ahead and we decided to stay for a night at our friend’s place, his name is Valera. That’s why we did not take tents and sleeping bags with us. We started over at dinner time and moved in the south direction, passing Barysh, Jadovka, Nikolaevka. We could see steppe and forest – steppe mostly. Despite the long way, we were not tired at all. At 5 p.m. we surprised Valera by appearing at his place in Holostovka. Having had a little rest we made a decision to move towards lake Beloe and the confluence. We passed Andreevka, and went deeper into the forest. In the forest we faced muddy, broken road. Sometimes we got stuck and the bike was overheated, but then we had no problem, reaching our destination, going down sandy forest soil. Having moved a bit deeper into the forest down the path, we abandoned the vehicle. A two-minute promenade and we reached the goal. Then we took some pictures and moved back to Holostovka. Valera and his parents appeared to be very hospitable. We had our meals, talked a little and went to bed.

Next morning we decided to postpone visiting the last point until next year. The return journey was exhausting though we went the same way. We came back tired but pleased. And we were already discussing our next trip.
