(visited by Shigeru Shimizu)

15-Jun-2005 -- In this afternoon, I climbed Mt.Tara-dake and Mt.Kyoga-take, the highest mountain of Saga-prefecture. It was 15:07 when I reached the top, and it was 16:28 when I came back to the starting place.

It seemed to be too late to visit the confluence today. I'm not sure when it got dark, but anyway I decided to try. I supposed I could reach the closest point on road within an hour by car. But actually I lost my way, I took about two hours. It was very difficult to find the correct way to the nearest point, because my map was old and there were many small road not described on the map. Fortunately it was not dark, I parked the car at the roadside, 330 meters ESE from the point. I followed the path in the forest described on the map, and walked into the forest at the point only 100 meters north from the target. Gentle slope and well maintained cedar forest was easy to walk. I reached the confluence soon. There was a bulletin board showing the point. It was 18:50 and still 30 minutes before sunset, but almost dark by lot of tall trees.
