#1: Overview of the point, from 20 meters South

(visited by Shigeru Shimizu)

08-Jul-2006 -- This is the only Big Zero point (10-degree confluence) in Japan. The point was located in the center of the biggest reclaimed land, named Hachiro-gata Kantakuchi.

The ways and pathes in the reclaimed land consists a maze, separated with a lot of channel and canal.

The target was in the rice field filled with water, and rice was growing. I stopped to walk into the rice field.

The closest point I could reach was 20 meters away, and GPS value was 40.00.00.0N, 139.59.59.2E.
