#1: The confluence is just around the bend in the Colorado River

30-Sep-2000 -- After heading down the coast along Galveston Island we headed west to Bay City Texas and the 29N 96W Confluence. It was located along the east side of the Colorado River.

The confluence was not accessable easily by land but walking along the river during the dry season might be feasable.
