#1: Looking north from confluence point

(visited by Abdul Karim Khadim, Ghulam Kasim, Abdul Hakim Bijarani, Mohammad ayoob, Hafiz Shafi Mohammad and Baz Mohammad Bijarani)

27-May-2007 -- After the three successful visits of confluences in past i discussed this project with my friend Ghulam Kasim and he agreed to join me in future confluence visit.

I arrived in my hometown Khairpur on Friday 25th May to visit my Bridge construction project which is being constructed over river INDUS to connect Khairpur and Larkana districts in province of SINDH, Pakistan. I was scheduled to fly to Islamabad on Sunday 27th May. But me and my friend Kasim decided to go to Islamabad by road and to visit the different confluences coming on the way.

We left Khairpur at 4-40am on my Parado jeep which was driven by driver Mohammad Ayoob. We already informed our common friend Mr Abdul Hakim Khan Bijarani that we will reach near village Karampur at 6am and requested him to join us on our way to confluence 28N,69E along with his bodyguards as this confluence was in the bed of river Indus and the area was dangerous. As per progaramme we reached the point and our friend was waiting for us with his guards. From this point we took the narrow road and then river protection bund and drove for about 13 kms. and we were near the confluence after crossing the wild bushes. The area was known to our friend Mr.Bijarani and we reached within 80M of the confluence.

With help of local residents we were able to reach the exact point easily. We took the photographs and thanked to local people and started our onward journey to Mr.Bijarani's village where breakfast was ready. We had our breakfast and thanked our friend and host Mr.Bijarani and started our onward journey to Multan at 8.30am.
