#1: Looking north from confluence point

(visited by Abdul Karim Khadim, Malik Maqsood and Mohammad Anwar)

21-Jun-2007 -- After visiting six confluences in last two months i have decided not to leave any opportunity to visit a confluence if it is possible. As narrated already i am an engineer by profession and head a construction company so i have to travel a lot all over the country and abroad. I had to attend a meeting in Lahore on Friday 22nd June. I invited my friend Malik Maqsood to join me to Lahore and told him about the confluence project. Keeping in view our time schedule we decided to visit two confluences one while going to Lahore and other coming back from Lahore. We left Islamabad, by Toyota Vigo double cabin, at 2pm. We traveled on Lahore-Islamabad motorway M-2 for about two and half hours and left the motorway at 4-30pm.Then we drove on Pindi Bhattian-Sargodha link road for about 10 kms. After that we took the bank of a nallah which was directly going to confluence point after a drive of about 2kms. We had to park our vehicle 200meters from the point. We walked 200 meters in the agricultural land and reached the exact point. The point is in green agricultural land. After reaching the point we took the necessary pictures. The visit was successful and we were happy. We started our journey to our destination and reached Lahore at 7-30pm.
