(visited by Alex Kostenko and Alex Miller)

30-Jun-2007 – At last we've purchase a new inflatable kayak to visit this point :) First we've try to get the nearest point on the beach by car (GoogleEarth showed us a spit between Dzharylgatch island and Lazurnoye urban settlement). But last year after a heavy gale this spit vanished from the face of the Earth. And now there is the only way to get this island, by boat. A small terrible noisy bark with drunken captain took us from Scadovsk to the island lighthouse – 5 km from the nearest point on the beach. N46°E33° is 1.06 km from the desolate beach. Only azure mirror-like sea surface, white sand and sea-shells were here.

Because of rotten Chinese air-pump our inflatable kayak was not rigid enough. Dead calm and our enthusiasm helped us to reach N46°E33° on badly pumped uncontrollable kayak. It took us about 10 minutes to make our GARMINs photos with precisely N46°00' E33°00'. Hurrah! At last all “zeros” were photographed! On our way back dozen of dolphins came. Dolphins were just next to kayak. The wind became stronger and stronger. Fortunately though strong wind our Canon didn't get wet and we can show the world our magnificent photos.
