10-Jun-2007 – This point was found during our three-day journey on the roads of Novgorodskaya and Pskovskaya oblast'. We easily reached Bol’shoy Zakhod village; from here we have to walk about 3 km. Our way started from the power pole with stork nest. We didn’t find any paths around and chose to come like a truck as the easiest way. The forest was very difficult to traverse and boggy; moreover it was swarming with gadflies and mosquitoes. When after two hours we came to cherished spot we were completely done up. We took similar shots of surrounding area (photo 1–4). Our way back took another two hours. Then we continued our journey to Il’men Lake.
