12-Oct-2007 -- It was almost by chance that we tried one more time to get to the confluence point in Half Moon Bay, Saudi Arabia. Marc went last summer by sailboat with his good friend Arch Elving. They had reached the point but they just had a mobile phone as camera. The pictures didn't come out very well.

A few weeks ago we received an e-mail from a journalist who writes for one of Aramaco's magazines (Aramco is the Saudi oil company), and she wanted to interview Marc about his hobby to go where there are Confluences. He told her that if she wanted to do the experience herself, she was most welcome, and she enthusiastically accepted. From then, we organized the trip with Arch's motor boat this time, and with 3 GPS and 3 cameras!

It was on 12 October 2007 that the short boat ride took place. I say short because with a 150HP engine, we got there in 15 minutes, whereas it had taken hours to Marc and Arch by sailboat!
