13-Mar-2008 -- Another winter wonderland experience. This year we had three weeks of vacation in Norway and Sweden to go on a nordic ski tour near Lillehammer, go by car further north to Kiruna and start a one week husky tour through the high mountains of Abisko national park.
On our way to back from Kiruna to Oslo we stopped for a second confluence attempt. This one again was successful. We stayed overnight in our car, with the nearby confluence almost in sight. The terrain was deeply snowcovered, and a little bit hilly. Weather was a bit cloudy and grey, but the reception for the GPS was perfect.
We enjoyed the moment and were observed by a farmer driving around with his tractor. We got the feeling that he already knew what was going on, another stupid people trampling around his countryside, holding a small box in their hands and searching for something invisible. We like winter time in Sweden and would like to invite all people to give it a try searching for confluences during this part of the year.
