(visited by Steve Ingold and John Dawson)

25-Jul-2008 -- This confluence was quick an easy. We were doing a road trip up north to the Yukon and this was literally 3km off the highway. We bushwacked at first, had a rough time getting around swamps and one large crossing. But eventually we made it to an old trail, which we figured was an animal trail. It took us to 40m from the confluence, sweet!

Acting quick due to a ridiculous amount of bugs we got the point and headed back, this time we followed the trail beyond the swamp and it turned out to be an old hunting trail. It took us right back to the highway in 40 minutes! I hadn't bothered checking my topo maps when we planned this visit because it was so close to the highway. I really should have because it turned out the hunting trail was marked on my maps!

Always a fun little adventure.

The Yukon Territory/British Columbia demarcation line is passing exactly through the Confluence.
