18-Aug-2008 -- I left Neuquen early in the morning, it was cold, at 3°C. I was going in direction to Choele Choel, I was in the proximities of this confluence on Friday 15 but I realized I had to walk a lot to get there and it was late, I decided to do it on Monday 18.
I was in the area by 10h00 approaching from the gas pipes until a wire fence with no gates, from there I had to walk about 5km to get there and another 5km to get back (at the end it turned out to be a little more than 11 km for the round trip)
The morning was spectacular, the sun shined in plain winter warming the air and helping the walk, which I made just by myself.

I reached the confluence at noon among vegetation that did not measure more than one meter on rocky grounds.

I took the photos and since there was not much more there I walked back to my vehicle, from there to Choele Choel, where I am writing this note.
