Esta confluência é extremamente fácil de ser alcançada, embora seja muito difícil zerar o GPS, em virtude da mata densa onde o ponto exato se encontra. Ela se situa dentro de um terreno da COPASA (Companhia de Saneamento de Minas Gerais), fechado por cerca de arame. É possível chegar de carro até 45 metros de distância. Embora pudéssemos pedir permissão para entrar no terreno, não iria adiantar, pois mesmo do lado de fora o GPS já perdia o sinal assim que o céu começava a ficar encoberto pelas árvores.

Aparentemente, o local está bem mais estruturado agora do que nas visitas anteriores. Agora, o asfalto chega até a entrada do terreno da COPASA, localizado na rua Ximango, no bairro Barreiro. Além disso, segundo um funcionário que estava dentro do terreno, está sendo construída uma Estação de Tratamento de Água no local.

A confluência fica dentro do município de Belo Horizonte, capital do estado de Minas Gerais, e a 11,0 km em linha reta da Praça Sete de Setembro, ponto mais central da cidade. Para chegar até o ponto, deve-se seguir a avenida Olinto Meireles, uma das principais do bairro, até o seu final, localizado a 786 metros, em linha reta, da confluência, e então seguir a seta do GPS, passando pelas ruas internas do bairro, todas asfaltadas.

A 991 metros da confluência (novamente em linha reta) localiza-se o conhecido Hospital Júlia Kubitscheck, referência da cidade, batizado em homenagem à mãe do ex-presidente brasileiro, Juscelino Kubitscheck.

This confluence is very easy to reach, although it is very hard to get all GPS zeroes, because the forest is very dense in the exact point. The confluence is located in a COPASA (Minas Gerais Sanitation Company) terrain, protected by a wire fence. It is possible to drive by car until 45 meters to the point. Although it is possible to ask permission to enter in the terrain, this would not have any advantage, because the GPS lost the signal when we approached the fence and the canopy covers the sky.

Apparently, the place is now much more structured than it was in the previous visits. At now, the paved street reach the COPASA terrain, located in the Ximango Street, in Barreiro district. According a company employee, a Water Treatment Station will be built in that place.

The confluence is located inside the Belo Horizonte city, capital of Minas Gerais state, at 11.0 km straight line to Sete de Setembro Square, the town’s central point.

To reach the confluence, we followed Olinto Meireles Avenue, one of the most important ones of this district, until its end, at 786 meters straight line to the point. Than, we followed the GPS arrow, crossing the internal streets of the district, all paved ones.

The Júlia Kubitscheck Hospital, reference of the town, is located 991 meters to the confluence, straight line again. The hospital was christened in honor of the mother of the former Brazilian president, Juscelino Kubitscheck.
