03-May-2009 – The night we met during our way from the point 48°N45°E was spent at a motel within the city of Volgograd. We left the city in the morning via south-western exit and headed along the route Volgograd – Oktyabrskiy – Kotelnikovo. We made a right turn near the road direction sign 'Shelestovo/Vodino' about fifteen kilometers away from Abganerovo village. We were lucky to find the point three kilometers later located quite close to the asphalt road. It seemed to be the easiest confluence point we ever approached by car, but who else is going to repeat the visit?

We returned the car to the company in Volgograd and got back home by train.
